I've heard nothing but complaints about the Rogue figure over at The Fwoosh, but then again, there're a lot of picky fanboys over there. Lotta griping about her ugly upper leg articulation and her busted-ass face.

ELectra and BLack Cat have that same leg articulation, and it does suck.
the guys are done much better.
the face, not great, but I could live with it, I guess, if I was a fan.

Shit, I guess it helps to actually read the posts, huh? I'm so used to Marvel Legends discussion that I immediately assumed it was ML Rogue. Sorry, man.

Comments: One of the most popular figures made to date. And without doubt, the most sought after female figure of the line in 1994. Well, to be honest, Rogue was the only female figure made since Storm (who had an original release and a repaint in the interim). Unfortunately, Rogue was the only successful figure from this series. Every other figure languished on the shelves for years after the original release. Even so, the Rogue figure can occasionally be found in retail outlets.

Rogue had a significant variation and a minor variation (well, perhaps both were minor, but one made a big difference in the figure's look while the other is merely a curiosity). The first release of the figure had eyeliner under the eye. This figure had a scary, Tammy-Faye Bakker look to her and was subsequently changed. The later production run figures had no eyeliner under the eye which severely curtailed the psycho-look factor and was much better received.

In addition to the eyeliner under the eye, the first release of Rogue had two variations: three lash and four lash. This refers to the number of lashes that the figure had above the eye. It has been confirmed that the later release figures (with no eyeliner) had both three and four lash versions as well.

The Power Uppercut Punch worked reasonably well. The 10" version of this figure came with a real jacket, had a broader white stripe in the hair (too wide), and had no action feature (none of the 10" figures incorporated the action features of their 5" counterparts).

A Canadian version of this figure is said to exist. The difference is said to be on the card where the jacket has the "X" emblem on it.

Rogue was a busy mold after its initial release. The Rogue mold was used to create a 10" Mystique figure (found primarily at Kay Bee due to other retailers bailing on the 10" lines altogether) and a 5" Polaris in the X-Men: Flashback line in 1996.

Rogue herself was re-released on a Marvel Universe card.

The only difference seems to be that her eyes are a lighter shade of green. Not much, but it is noticeable when the figures are side by side."
